Hey guys did you know that there is a Super Nova program going on this summer at South Plains Council?  Well there is and space is limited.  Below is the link to the info if you are interested.  This program is for Webelos and Arrow of Light boys.   Sounds like a good time!

Dr. Charles H. Townes Supernova Award Program for Webelos I and II

Kickoff Date:  Saturday, June 17^th at the Mahon Library Community Room

Interest Forms can be filled out online at until May 5th: http://SPC.Kintera.Org/Supernova  

Registration begins mid-May.  If you filled out an Interest Form you will have the opportunity to register first.

Program Fee:  $30 per scout (program limited to 25 scouts)

 I just wanted to share an idea talked about at the last Round Table!

Pack 574 were working on their Cyberchip and wanted to show an example to their Scouts how it might look safe but looks are deceiving.  They bought Jelly Belly Beanboozled jelly beans and had the boys pick 2 of the same color.  When the boys tried both jelly beans they found that one was not the flavor they thought it would be.  It was a great lesson in internet safety.  Thanks Barbie Taylor for sharing your idea with the group!
